Learning, Creativity and Communication

From August 10th to 14th, the English Department celebrated English Week 2026, a special opportunity for our students to experience English beyond the classroom through engaging, creative, and meaningful activities.

This year’s English Week focused on learning English through fun, creativity, participation, and communication. Students from Pre-Kindergarten to 12th Grade took part in a wide variety of activities designed to encourage the use of English in authentic and enjoyable contexts, while strengthening communication skills, confidence, creativity, collaboration, and cultural awareness.

Throughout the week, students participated in a diverse range of activities, including the Spelling Bee, English talks, live theater performances, Shark Tank presentations, Escape Room challenges, Storytelling sessions, the Talent Show, English Fair, and English Fun Fest. Each activity provided students with opportunities to communicate, collaborate, demonstrate their talents, and challenge themselves while using English in meaningful situations.

The week also encouraged students of different ages to share their abilities and learn from one another. From our youngest students participating in songs, stories, and performances to our older students presenting ideas, competing in challenges, and showcasing their talents, English Week demonstrated that language learning can be an active, engaging, and memorable experience.

English Week 2026 was a celebration of language, creativity, learning, and community. It reminded us that learning English is not only about developing language skills, but also about communicating with confidence, making connections, discovering new possibilities, and enjoying the learning process.

We are very proud of our students’ enthusiasm, creativity, and participation, and grateful to all the teachers, staff members, and members of our school community who contributed to making English Week 2026 a meaningful and memorable experience for everyone.
